Landmark, Iceland!

Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavík, Iceland. Designed by Guðjón Samúelsson, this 74.5 m (244 ft) church turns Iceland’s volcanic landscape into architecture — its stepped concrete façade echoing the basalt lava columns found across the country. Built between 1945 and 1986, it remains one of Reykjavík’s defining landmarks.
