Wild Cheetah peacefully curls up beside him!

This image refers to wildlife photographer Dolph C. Volker, who became known online after sharing unusually close interactions with wild cheetahs in Africa. In one famous moment, a cheetah calmly approached him and rested beside him instead of acting aggressively. While the scene looked shocking to many people, experts say cheetahs are generally less dangerous to humans compared to lions, tigers, or leopards. Unlike other big cats, cheetahs evolved for speed rather than power. They are lightweight, shy, and often avoid confrontation whenever possible. In the wild, cheetahs rarely attack humans, and many wildlife researchers describe them as naturally nervous animals. Some conservation centers even note that cheetahs can become surprisingly relaxed around humans they trust. However, that does not mean they are harmless pets. They are still wild predators capable of injuring people if threatened or stressed.
