Emotional feelings of a Doctor!

*A doctor stepped outside the hospital and broke down in tears.** Just minutes earlier, he had lost a 19-year-old patient. The photo was taken outside a Southern California hospital in 2015 by a paramedic who noticed the ER doctor overwhelmed by what had just happened. For a few quiet moments, he stood alone outside. Head down. Hands resting on his knees. Trying to process the loss. Then he pulled himself together. Walked back inside. And continued caring for the other patients who still needed him. Doctors are trained to remain calm during some of the most difficult moments of people’s lives. But that doesn’t mean those moments don’t affect them or stay with them. Sometimes, the people working hardest to save lives are carrying an emotional weight that nobody else can see. ❤️
