The Kopeshwar Temple at Khidrapur (Maharashtra) was built by the Shilahara dynasty’s Kolhapur branch. Construction began under King Gandaraditya around 1109–1178 CE and was completed by his successors, with later Yadava patronage. Its signature feature is the open circular Swarga Mandapa with 48 carved pillars.
