Helpless to face his snoring!

I was travelling from Howrah to Ranchi in a 3-tier Sleeper class. I was allotted the lower berth while a middle-aged person was in the middle berth, just above me. It was a cold night. Our train was running at considerably good speed. I was comfortably sleeping in my blanket. At around 2AM I was woken-up by the heavy snoring of the person sleeping on the middle berth - just above me. I tried to resume my sleep but the snoring was very loud. I got up and asked that gentleman about the time in his watch. I knew it was not good on my part but my idea was to disturb his sleep. He was certainly disturbed - he informed the time and within the next 5-minutes he was again snoring loudly. An idea clicked in my mind. I had poured a little water right in the middle of his blanket. It took 2-3minutes for the water to trickle on his pants. Naturally he was woken-up. He must have tried to turn the blanket but since the wet part of the blanket was right in the middle - it kept on disturbing him. I could sleep comfortably. I am sorry I did not tender my apologies for this mischief but I was helpless to face his snoring.
