Sharing marriage feast!

We were going back to our home-town during Christmas break. Since we could not gain reservation on the train, we had to travel by general class. Some students were sitting on the lower berths while 3-students adjusted themselves on the upper seat. Since it was an ordinary passenger-train therefore it was stopping at every station. There was a considerable rush of passengers in the train. On one of the stations a person entered our compartment and left his basket and made himself comfortable on a distant seat. One of the students on the upper berth smelt something, very softly he tried to feel the stuff in the basket and to his surprise he found a laddoo. It was tasty. He shared it with his other friends on the upper berth. Since the students on the lower berth noticed it, they also wished to share it. So again the student slipped his hand into the basket and came out with a different sweet. Now this feast went on for almost 20-minutes. The train stopped and the man came to claim his basket. The student on the upper berth helped him in passing the basket and casually asked him if he was a halwai? The man replied “Sir, there was a marriage feast. We are carrying the left-overs.”
