There is no price change in India, because it was already high earlier. Even when crude was 55-65$ per barrel, Indian were paying 95-105 per liter.
Americans were paying 0.77 USD per liter, that is 71 Rupees. They are now paying 0.94 USD that is 86.48, still lower than India.
This while India's per capita income is around 8000 USD (PPP) while that of an American is 75,000 to 85,000 USD.
