Un-intended sacrifice for a noble cause!

In 2008, a Brazilian priest named Adelir Antônio de Carli tried to raise money for a rest stop and worship center for truckers by doing something almost impossible to imagine. He tied himself to hundreds of helium balloons and lifted off into the sky. At first, it looked like a stunt no one would ever forget. But then it turned into a tragedy. He drifted away from the coast and out over the Atlantic Ocean. Contact was lost. Search teams looked for him, but the priest had vanished into the sky and sea. Months later, his body was found by a tugboat crew offshore. What makes this story so haunting is how it began with hope. A fundraiser. A spectacle. A man trying to do something bold for a cause he believed in. And then it ended in one of the strangest and saddest disasters imaginable. A chair, a sky full of balloons, and a man who never made it back.
