To arrest a drug trafficking suspect during a crowded street festival, several officers disguised themselves as drag queens, complete with sparkling dresses, wigs, makeup, and high heels. Blending perfectly into the festive crowd, they approached the suspect without raising any suspicion.
The arrest went smoothly, and the photo of the glamorous officers next to the suspect quickly went viral.
This isn’t the first time: Thai police regularly use creative disguises (dancers, tourists, delivery workers) for undercover work.
