Courage to care!

Some heroes don’t wear capes, they walk quietly among us. πŸ’™ For more than 20 years, Chen Si has spent his weekends on the Yangtze River Bridge in Nanjing. While others enjoy rest days, he chooses to patrol the rails, watching for anyone in despair. He carries nothing more than patience, compassion, and a willingness to listen. Over time, he has saved hundreds of lives with simple acts: a conversation, a gentle hand, a reminder that someone cares. Many of the people he reached out to later said it was the first time in a long while they felt seen. Chen Si never asked for recognition. Locals began calling him the “Angel of Nanjing,” but to him it has always been about one thing: showing up when it matters most. His story is proof that you don’t need power, money, or fame to make a difference. You just need the courage to care, again and again.
