Donkeys are well-suited to challenging conditions!

Donkeys are remarkable animals adapted to survive in harsh desert environments rather than lush grasslands. Their large ears help regulate body temperature by releasing heat, keeping them cool in hot climates. They are also known for their powerful bray, which can travel up to two miles and allows them to communicate over long distances. In addition to their physical adaptations, donkeys have excellent long-term memory and can remember places, routes, and other animals for years. These unique traits make donkeys resilient, intelligent, and well-suited to challenging conditions.
