Pothole helped?

They were taking her home for her funeral. Then one pothole changed everything. In Uttar Pradesh, India, 50-year-old Vineeta Shukla had reportedly been declared beyond recovery after suddenly collapsing at home. Her family was told there were no signs of life and no hope that she would survive once life support was removed. Heartbroken, they began taking her home for her last rites. But on the way, the ambulance hit a large pothole. The sudden jolt violently shook the vehicle. And then something unbelievable happened. Her husband says Vineeta suddenly began moving and breathing normally. In that instant, the journey home turned around. They immediately diverted the ambulance to another hospital, where doctors admitted her and started new treatment. And she survived. Later, doctors explained that this was not someone “coming back from the dead.” They believe she had likely been critically ill, possibly from a toxic insect or snake bite, but not truly brain-dead. The jolt from the pothole may have helped reveal that she still had recoverable function. After nearly two weeks of treatment, she was discharged home awake and talking. A story that sounds impossible at first… but may actually be a sobering reminder of how dangerous premature medical conclusions can be.
