3 lbs stone in bladder!

If you have been ignoring pain or discomfort while urinating for years, please pay attention to this story. A 56-year-old farmer in China, lived with excruciating pain for three years before finally agreeing to see a doctor. He had been experiencing frequent and difficult urination, sudden interruptions, and even pain. He initially mistook the symptoms for common prostate issues and refused to see a doctor because he did not want to take time off from his farm work. He believed he could keep the pain in check with medicine. But the symptoms worsened over time. He did not dare venture far from home for fear of having to urinate, and he woke up many times during the night to the point where he barely got any rest. His family eventually convinced him to visit the hospital. At the Department of Urology at the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University in Xuwen, doctors discovered the real problem. His bladder contained a stone measuring 13 centimeters long, 10 centimeters wide, and weighing 1.3 kilograms, which is about 2.9 pounds and roughly the size of two adult fists. The stone was so large that urine could barely flow through his urethra. Doctors confirmed that the stone could have endangered his life due to the prolonged pressure on the bladder walls. The hospital put together a multidisciplinary team and created a custom surgical plan. The surgery was successful, and the farmer was finally rid of the nightmare that had been plaguing him for years. After the procedure, Chen told doctors, "If only I had come for treatment three years ago, I wouldn't have suffered so much for nothing." Doctors said that although this was not the largest bladder stone ever recorded, it was definitely the largest ever recorded in the Guangdong region.
