A bill was introduced in the Philippines House of Representatives proposing the de@th penalty by firing squad for public officials convicted of graft and corruption, malversation of public funds, and plunder.
But it is only a proposed bill, not a law. The Philippines currently does not have the de@th penalty, and bringing it back would require major legal and political approval, including action by Congress and the repeal or amendment of existing law.
