Record Snowfall in Russia!

Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula is experiencing its heaviest snowfall in more than 60 years, with weather agencies citing a 146-year national record. The average height of snow in the city reached 170 centimeters (5.5 feet), with drifts exceeding 2.5 meters (8 feet) in certain neighborhoods. Other corners of the city recorded snow depositing up to 12 meters covering several floors of apartment buildings. Reuters images show cars almost completely buried and apartment entrances blocked by towering drifts. Residents have been forced to dig tunnels to leave buildings, while emergency services increased clearing operations. Meteorologists attribute the conditions to repeated Pacific cyclones pulling moisture into freezing air over the peninsula. However, many people are speculating that the visuals are AI-generated, but they are not.
