Mobile-phone mishaps!

When Rambabu Walked into Someone Else's House It was already nine o'clock at night when Rambabu got off the bus at his stop. The weather had become pleasant after a light drizzle. Humming a tune, Rambabu pulled out his mobile phone from his pocket and started scrolling through reels. He kept walking forward, glued to the screen. His street was completely deserted, which allowed him to lose himself entirely in the videos. Reaching the end of the street, he pressed the doorbell. A moment later, a woman opened the door, turned around, and sat back down on a chair inside. She, too, was staring intently at her phone, watching something entertaining. Rambabu stepped inside and sat down on the sofa. He then said, "Give me a glass of water." The woman went inside, filled a glass, and came back to stand in front of him. The moment Rambabu looked up from his mobile to take the glass, he stood up in utter shock. In a voice full of astonishment, Rambabu asked, "Who are you?" Hearing his voice, the woman also looked up from her phone and asked sharply, "Who are you?" Rambabu then looked around. He was not in his own house; he was in someone else's home. Both stared at each other in disbelief. They instantly realized what their phone obsession had caused them to do that day. Rambabu had entered someone else's house thinking it was his own, and the woman had let him in thinking he was her husband. Since both were educated and sensible individuals, they immediately understood the mistake. Rambabu apologized to the woman. Then, they introduced themselves to each other. Whether she genuinely liked his mannerisms or for some other reason, the woman offered him a cup of tea. Rambabu sat back down. As the tea arrived, a conversation struck up between them. They both got to know and understand each other better. As Rambabu was about to leave, the woman gave him her mobile number and saved his. What happened after that is a very interesting story. The next morning, Rambabu’s phone buzzed. It was a text message from the woman, whose name was Priya. The message read: "You left your umbrella at my house. Or did you do that on purpose so you'd have an excuse to walk into the wrong house again?" Rambabu smiled and replied that it was a genuine mistake, but he wouldn't mind coming back to retrieve it. When he arrived that evening, he didn't just pick up his umbrella; he brought a box of sweets as a proper thank-you for the tea from the night before. Over the next few weeks, the accidental neighbors started text-messaging each other regularly—though this time, they made sure to look up from their screens while walking. Their casual tea chat turned into weekend coffee dates, and within a year, the two families were celebrating a wedding. At the reception, the groom's friends gave Rambabu a special gift: a giant, bright neon sign for his new front door that read: "Rambabu, look up! You are home."
