Blind sculptor creates idols of Durga Maa!

He was born without sight, yet his hands have created over 700 beautiful idols of Hindu deities. ❤️🙏 Meet Ram Pal, a 50-year-old sculptor from West Bengal who creates intricate idols of Goddess Durga and Lord Ganesha using his sense of touch. Born blind in both eyes, Ram Pal began learning idol-making from his father at just four years old. Over time, he mastered the art of shaping clay, using his fingers to understand every curve, proportion and detail. For nearly 25 years, he and his family have travelled to Basti, Uttar Pradesh, spending around six months each year preparing idols for the festive season. His wife and other family members also help him with the work. According to reports, Ram Pal has created more than 700 idols, turning a skill learned in childhood into a lifelong profession. From carefully shaping clay to creating detailed expressions, every sculpture reflects decades of experience and craftsmanship. 25 years of dedication. More than 700 idols. One extraordinary artist.
