Artificial Traffic-jam!

Just saw this crazy experiment: Simon Weckert stuffed a wagon with 99 smartphones and walked down a Berlin street. Google Maps saw all those phones and thought there was a massive traffic jam. Cars got rerouted even though the street was empty! Who knew you could hack traffic with a wagon full of phones?
