TRUE IDENTITY!
Looking for a job, a Lashman happened to visit the King’s court. When asked about his ability, Lakshman claimed that he could judge anybody by seeing their faces & habits.
The King was impressed by his words and appointed him in charge of his special horse stable. A few days later the King asked his opinion about his most expensive and beloved horse. Lakshman informed that the horse is not pedigree.
The Surprised king inquired from his old horse-keeper to hear this. The reply was that the horse was certainly a pedigree but grew with cows since its mother died at the time of the horse’s birth.
"When it eats grass, it eats it with its head down like cows, while the breed horse eats grass with its head high."
The King was very pleased with his test. He rewarded him with a house, cereal, ghee, chicken and eggs and deployed him to the Queen's palace.
A few days later the king asked Lakshman’s opinion about the queen. Lakshman’s reply was that the queen was not born in a royal family.
The king lost his balance. He immediately enquired from his mother-in-law about the truth. Mother-in-law informed that her own daughter had expired within 6-months of her birth while the marriage was already fixed. To maintain relationship with the royal family, we raised someone else's daughter as our own daughter. ”
The king asked Lakshman the reasons for his comments, he replied that Rani Sahiba's behavior with servants is extremely harsh. There is a decency in the behavior of a family, which is not seen in her”.
The King was even more impressed by his wisdom. He rewarded him even more—grains, sheep—and gave him a place in his court.
After some time the king called him again and asked about himself. Lakshman asked the king for a promise to protect his life. The king promised it then Lakshman informed that the king’s conduct was different from the conduct of royal families.
The king was greatly annoyed, but he kept his promise. He went straight to his mother and enquired about the truth.
Mother told the truth—They had no children so they had adopted and raised a son of a shepherd
The king again asked Lakshman to confirm the basis of his statement. He replied that the king rewards diamonds, pearls and jewelry." But the king was rewarding the cereal, sheep and food. This behavior may not be of a king, but of a shepherd's son.
The conclusion:
How much wealth, happiness, position and power a man possesses—these are all external appearances.
“The real identity of a person is by his behavior and his intentions. Nature can be changed, but intentions never change”.
