Moments of motherhood!
Being strapped down during a C-section is one of the most vulnerable moments of motherhood—one no one really prepares you for. Your arms are spread, your body is numb, and control is no longer yours. You can’t touch your belly, can’t reach for your baby, can’t do anything except wait.
A curtain separates you from the moment your life changes forever. You hear unfamiliar sounds, feel pressure you can’t explain, and time seems to stretch and pause all at once. Your heart pounds—not just from fear, but from anticipation.
Somewhere, just inches away, your baby is being born… and all you can do is trust.
In that stillness, strength becomes quiet. It looks like slow, steady breaths. It looks like tears sliding into your hair. It looks like surrender. And when you finally hear that first cry, every second of waiting suddenly makes sense.
Being strapped down didn’t make you weak.
It made you brave in a way only a C-section mother can truly understand.
