My life was just normal. Following the daily routines like getting-up in the morning, having a cup of tea and scanning the newspaper for fresh news(Which usually never changes except dates and locations). Then getting ready for the office and returning in the evening after office is over. It was a mechanical living.
BUT it had put me in serious thoughts when I went out of station and did not call my family for 6-days in a row.
My wife was mad at me. She was getting different ideas since the news always highlighted the accidents, pick-pocketing, murders etc.
My wife rang my office to get my where-abouts - location of my hotel where I was staying.
I was shocked to receive her phone-call in the middle of night with a shrill-shout about my negligence of not calling home. I was really ashamed but could not help saying ‘SORRY’.
I made it a point to call my home daily. For the first 3-days my wife just called my daughter or son to continue talking since she was still angry with me but later she started talking to me on the phone. I asked if she wanted anything for the place I was touring but there was a negative reply.
After 15-days I reached back to my home and again I had a full dose of shouting.
Was it LOVE?
