Nowadays every youth is running after a good packaged job. Mohit Nizhavan of Chandigarh, working in a big pharma company in Mumbai, also had a grand annual package of ₹90 lakhs. But his vision was something else.
Working in the pharma sector, Mohit saw very closely that the biggest root cause of serious cancer is our 'poor and chemical-riching'. They decided they would sell pure food, not medicines. Mohit left his high-profile job worth millions.
Amidst the overwhelming family anger and stretch, they started growing 'microgreens' from a small room and roof of the house. They didn't buy a big farm for this. Only with plastic trays and water they grew 21 types of nutrients (superfood) like broccoli, mustard and radish.
They created a company named 'Embryonic Greens'. Today their 'Greenu' brand is generating revenue of ₹12 lakhs every month (yearly turnover ₹1.44 crore)! Today Mohit is not only giving pure and nutritious food to the people, but also training other farmers for this modern farming.
