Are YOU snoring?

Snoring—especially when associated with obstructive sleep apnea—can negatively affect brain health by causing repeated drops in oxygen levels during sleep. These interruptions not only disrupt deep, restorative sleep but also place ongoing stress on the brain. Over time, this can impair the brain’s ability to clear toxins, potentially contributing to cognitive decline. Poor sleep quality has also been linked to issues with memory, concentration, and overall mental performance. According to Pittsburgh Dental Sleep Medicine, these factors may increase the risk of long-term conditions such as dementia.
