Stretches your entire posterior!

Hold this position for 2 minutes daily This position stretches your entire posterior chain, including your calves, hamstrings and back. Especially if you sit a lot, these areas tend to get tight and stiff, which often shows up as tension in the lower back. At the same time, your shoulders and upper back are involved as well. Reaching your arms forward or overhead adds movement to the shoulder girdle and can help reduce tension in the upper back. By folding forward, you take pressure off your lower back and give your hips more freedom to move. This helps your body distribute load better instead of everything ending up in your lower back. With slow, controlled breathing, this position can also help calm your nervous system, especially if you do it in the evening. It’s not a magic fix, but it’s a simple habit you can build into your day. Even just 2 minutes can help reduce stiffness and improve how your body feels.
