Feeding a scared lion, by hand!

A sudden, violent hailstorm in a wildlife reserve area forced a massive, heavily scarred male lion to seek out immediate emergency shelter. Escaping the painful pelting of ice from the sky, the apex predator decided the safest place to wait out the severe weather was under the tiny concrete overhang right next to a glass-enclosed toll booth. The solitary toll operator found himself trapped inside his small station, absolutely terrified as the huge, battle-worn cat sat calmly just inches away from the glass door, completely ignoring the storm outside. Realizing the magnificent beast was just trying to stay dry and had no intention of leaving until the weather cleared, the nervous operator decided to offer an incredible peace offering. He cautiously opened the small sliding service window just enough to hand out thick pieces of raw meat to his intimidating new companion. The massive lion gently accepted the food directly from the man's hands, turning a terrifying standoff into an incredible, quiet moment of mutual respect and shared shelter during the chaotic storm.
