Moon Landing Mission!

NASA will launch Artemis II on April 1, 2026, from Kennedy Space Center, sending four astronauts on a 10-day mission around the Moon with continuous coverage planned. The mission marks the first human journey around the Moon since Apollo 17 in December 1972, over 50 years ago, with no planned lunar landing. The crew includes Victor Glover, Christina Koch, Jeremy Hansen, and Reid Wiseman, marking multiple firsts in lunar missions. Artemis II will test the Orion spacecraft’s life support systems with astronauts onboard and lay the foundation for future crewed missions. NASA will stream the mission on YouTube, with live spacecraft views and daily mission briefings throughout the flight.
