Realizing 'Thirst of animals'
A Kenyan man named Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua, often called “the water man”, became internationally recognized for his extraordinary efforts to save wildlife during severe droughts. According to BrightVibes, he worked as a pea farmer by day, but in the evenings he would drive a rented truck carrying about 3,000 gallons of water to Tsavo West National Park, delivering life-saving water to elephants, zebras, buffalo, and antelope.
According to Tuko News, animals would often wait for his arrival, knowing he was bringing fresh water to the parched land. His dedication earned him global admiration, as he spent hours driving long distances at his own expense to ensure the survival of Kenya’s wildlife.
